Majel Barrett Roddenberry has passed away.

I saw the news first on our local newspaper website, and here is the official statement from the Roddenberry website.

Even though I stopped watching Star Trek several series ago, I still have a soft spot for the original series, and still find myself caught up watching it if I happen to stumble across an episode on one of the classic tv stations.

I had no idea. I've always had a "wish to be her" thing going on there. :( What a talent, too. She was a lot more than "Mrs. Gene Roddenberry."
