The saddest, loneliest thing EVAR...

aww...now I'm sadder than I already was...
&:o(

hey! If you have all that spare time missy...you should DO SOMETHING FUN to put some zing into your schedule and meet new people and find interesting stuff. You could:
join a community theater (you won't have ANY spare time then - guarantee)
take a night-school course (yoga - knitting - volleyball - computer skills - cooking - travel - anything else you're interested in but never did before)
volunteer - habitat for humanity - local animal shelter - environmental group - local historical locations
You could have fun - learn stuff - meet new people - that's what I'd do if I had spare time. You could be too busy to even look at your planner!

:-)

I'm not really complaining about having free time. I'm just laughing at myself for getting the page-a-day calendar. My job isn't really the type to need to keep track of lots of appointments.

I have given some thought to taking a night class, though. They offer some fun stuff through Colorado Free University that I've done before, so I need to check out their current schedule.

Night-classes can be so much fun! Years ago I took some kind of computer course, a SHORT-HAND course (yes I'm THAT old! &:o), a Spanish course, a water-color course, drawing, and for a couple of seasons played co-ed volley-ball. It really was fun. That's how I found out I could draw. (kind of). If I had the time I often wish I could do that kind of stuff again, you know?

hey one thing you COULD write down on one of those blank pages is "send ygrs a couple of plants for her Lil Green Patch" (hint hint)...
&:o)

I ended up getting a week spread on two pages. Then I get to see all the appointments, meetings, and meaningless work-related commitments I have in one fell gaze, and compare it to the utter and total lack of social commitments. Calendars can be cruel.
I buy calendars purely for the pretty pictures!
&:o)

I had a two-page-per-week, but the writing area was too microscopic. I wish they'd do one that didn't use up so much space for notes and stuff, or that consolidated the task list and appointment calendar. I can write small, but not that small.

And wall calendars definitely for the pictures! I love my Astronomy calendar and my half-nekkid firefighter calendar. *leer*

I wish the CO calendar was a wall one. I don't have any use for desk ones.

This year I've been using 365 Kittens A Year. A friend asked, "Do you ever get anything done, or do you just look at the calendar all day?"
I'm sorry....

We do not draw people to Christ by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light that is so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it… (Madeleine L'Engle)
